  26. is a plain looking but very efficient to use home accounting program. It can
  27. help you maintain a budget, keep track of all your income and expenses, and help
  28. keep up with bills.

  33. is a simple checkbook program. It uses a columnar display that simulates the
  34. register of a checkbook. You can easily and quickly enter checks, withdrawals,
  35. deposits, service charges, and interest. You can print the register and balance
  36. reports. A list of recurring payees is maintained for point-and-click entry. The
  37. program does not do reconciliations.

  86. is a checkbook program whose main claim to fame is that it is a Windows 3
  87. application with all the pop-up windows and buttons. The program is very
  88. limited in scope compared to the better DOS-based home accounting programs in
  89. PsL. Checkbook will not print checks nor let you set up the usual types of
  90. income, expense or balance sheet accounts. It will let you reconcile a bank
  91. account and mark transactions as being tax related. Hard drive and 640K
  92. recommended.

  99. is a complete double-entry accounting system. It features arbitrary accounting
  100. dates, a toolbar with the most frequently-used functions on it, automatic
  101. (recurring) transactions, printable reports and graphs that change as you update
  102. data, and password protection.

  105. context sensitive help, check printing, international format support,
  106. international currency and date support, a financial calculator, and
  107. more. Sample charts of accounts are included for both home and small
  108. business use. Money Smith is less overwhelming (and less flashy) than
  109. WinCheck, but seems to be equally powerful. The double-entry aspect may
  110. make Money Smith seem more confusing to some people and more flexible to
  111. others.

  118. is a checkbook program for Windows. It is very attractively done, with good
  119. use of colorful icons, and all the features are well thought out. You can mark
  120. transactions as having cleared, and an account reconciliation aid is provided.
  121. You can export data in a format readable by 1-2-3 and other programs, and
  122. import Quicken files.

  124. Additional features include the ability to save and recall up to 32 common
  125. transactions, multiple accounts, and no limit on the number of monthly
  126. transactions. Funds can easily be moved between accounts. It will print
  127. checks, and has the ability to design the layout of checks. A variety of
  128. reports can be generated. Categories may be classified as Income, Expense, or
  129. Both, and may be marked at tax deductible. Custom tools (apps) can be added to
  130. the menus, and on-line help is always available. A sample application is
  131. included for managing payroll deposits. A hard disk is required.
